Join Our Team as a Dermatologist at VA Puget Sound Health Care System!

Are you a passionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist looking to make a meaningful impact? Join us at the University of Washington and the Puget Sound VA Healthcare System , where you’ll provide comprehensive dermatologic care to our veterans—true American heroes!

Your Role

As a full-time faculty member, you will :

  • Deliver outpatient, inpatient, and surgical dermatologic care , including tele-dermatology.
  • Train dermatology residents and collaborate with primary care teams.
  • Engage in dermatopathology sign-out if fellowship-trained.

Our facility serves veterans across the Pacific Northwest and is a Joint Commission accredited, referral level 1a / high complexity center with 459 beds.

Work Schedule

Your work schedule will be full-time, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of evening or weekend shifts as needed. A compressed tour of duty may also be an option!

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following criteria :

  • U.S. Citizenship (Non-U.S. Citizens may be considered)
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
  • Board Certification in Dermatology preferred; Board Eligibility will also be considered.

    • We also operate several Community Based Outpatient Clinics to bring care closer to our veterans.
