Purpose
Perform and manage administrative operations for law school clinical courses including the Children's Rights Clinic, involving faculty, students, and clients. Assist with research, case support, and instructional activities for the clinical faculty. Maintain confidentiality with respect to student and client information, as appropriate.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three years' experience coordinating or administering a program. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment. Excellent organizational skills and oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer and data management skills. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple concurrent projects. Professional demeanor and ability to work well with a wide variety of people.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
More than required amount of experience coordinating or administering a program. One year of experience as a clerical supervisor or performing complex administrative functions. Experience using Microsoft Teams, Excel, CLIO, Canvas, and other cloud-based platforms, such as Box. Prior experience working with low-income clients. Ability to speak and write Spanish.
Salary Range
$50,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation, use of manual dexterity. Lift and move standard office files and supplies. Wear appropriate office attire; accept supervision. Extended work hours may be required.
