Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Overview :

Are you ready to make a difference in patient care? As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Carle Health, you'll work closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care to our patients. In this dynamic role, you will assist RNs with high-acuity patients and support the Unit Nurse Leader (UNL) when needed. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing trach care, and documenting assessments and care plans. Join us in creating a supportive environment where you can thrive!

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer oral and IV piggyback medications (excluding IV push meds).
• Document assessments and care plans after the RN has completed the initial assessment.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to coordinate patient care.
• Perform dressing changes and trach care as needed.
• Insert and manage NG tubes, including feeding through NG tubes.
• Care for and change ostomies.
• Reinforce patient education and discharge instructions.
• Complete annual education as required for compliance with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program.

Compensation and Benefits :

The compensation range for this position is $23.90 - $39.91 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and shifts worked.
