Sr. Healthcare Data Scientist with PhD

We are seeking several Sr. Healthcare Data Scientists for full time / direct hire positions that may sit fully remotely (local to MD is preferred but not required) .

• PhD is REQUIRED.

Salary : $150-$185k

7-10 years (or 3-6 years) hands-on experience in data science

PhD in technical field that commonly includes programming (e.g., electrical engineering, industrial engineering, math, physics, aerospace, statistics)

Familiar with Operations Research or AI Governance rules to develop AI Governance strategy related to AI model local validation, ongoing monitoring, bias assessment, model card development, etc.

Clinical data experience is preferred

Remote-eligible position, but prefer if candidate located in Maryland for on-site visits with clinical stakeholders

Focus on turning data products into IP – patents, publications, conferences, etc.

Required : Must be proficient in R or Python, and SQL

Interviews – one 30-minue round with hiring manger; second 60-minute team interview w / the Data Scienceteam
