Registered Dental Hygienist (Tupelo)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is a patient-focused professional who delivers high-quality preventive care and education to help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Youll work closely with our dentists and support staff to ensure every patient receives an exceptional care experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis (cleanings) , scaling and root planing , and periodontal maintenance procedures
• Conduct oral health assessments , including charting conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis by the dentist
• Take, process, and evaluate dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Apply fluoride treatments , sealants , and other preventive agents
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques , nutrition , and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Adhere to infection control , sterilization , and safety protocols
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures when necessary
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient care and comfort
