JOB DESCRIPTION Field travel in Detroit, MI
Molina's Behavioral Health function provides leadership and guidance for utilization management and case management programs for mental health and substance use services and assists with implementing integrated Behavioral Health care management programs.
Serves as liaison between plan and community Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug agencies / services to facilitate the care coordination process and to ensure the provision of Behavioral Health (BH) as a benefit of managed care.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3 years social work / behavioral health experience in an outpatient, inpatient setting, or managed care setting; behavioral health care coordination; knowledge of county mental health systems and of substance abuse conditions and treatment modalities. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other Behavioral Health field
3-5 years post-graduate experience
Experience coordinating care in higher levels of BH treatment such as Intensive Outpatient or Partial Hospitalization Programs, inpatient acute psychiatry, and substance abuse residential facilities.
Extensive knowledge of county mental health / substance abuse systems and social support resources. Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or state equivalent), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Certified Peer Support Specialist, Certified Family Support Specialist, or Certified Community Health Worker.
