Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical nursing, demonstrating proficiency in patient care, surgical procedures, and collaboration with surgical teams. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. Responsibilities Perform routine circulating and scrub nurse duties, including : Proper aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance Assisting in OR setup and room preparation Operating OR lights and tables Conducting sponge, sharps, and instrument counts Documenting surgical interventions and patient responses Provide patient safety by adhering to OR safety protocols and universal precautions. Monitor and maintain OR supplies, equipment, and emergency materials. Work collaboratively with surgical teams to facilitate efficient case management. Assist with emergency procedures and provide critical interventions as needed. Requirements Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state. Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE. At least three years' Operating Room experience or a current Operating Room nursing certification. Operating Room experience in the past 6 months. Certified by the American Heart Association for : CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS) Associate's Degree or diploma considered with valid license and relevant experience.
