Companion - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Riverside Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our busy Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced trauma center environment, serving a diverse patient population with acute and critical conditions. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions and responding to life-threatening situations, administering medications and treatments according to physician orders, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, operating and monitoring specialized ED equipment, documenting patient information in electronic health records, and educating patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up care. You'll also triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity levels. We require an active RN license in good standing, BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience, strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ED or ICU experience is preferred. We offer 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling options and a supportive team environment.
