American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts with Level 1 Trauma and EPIC charting experience required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital CT Scan department serving a Level 1 Trauma patient populationNight shift schedule : Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AMPerforms computerized axial tomography procedures, including multiplanar reformats and 3D rendered imagesAdministers IV, oral, and rectal contrast for studies as appropriateUses EPIC electronic medical record system; prior EPIC experience requiredResponsible for performing CT procedures and assigned invasive procedures following department protocolsReviews cases with radiologists as appropriate and manages patient history for correct exam selectionScreens patients for possible pregnancy and performs pregnancy testing if indicatedAssists with instruction of students or new staff as neededMay be expected to cross-train or assist in other imaging modalities within licensed scopeNo local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radiusRTO (requested time off) not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contractContingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than one year consecutively and must take a 6-month break before returningScrubs or dress code requirements not specified\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year CT experience in a hospital or trauma settingAssociate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology requiredCurrent IEMA Radiography License required if applicableARRT (R) certification or NMTCB certification requiredComputed Tomography (CT) ARRT certification requiredBLS certification from the American Heart Association requiredDocumented Level 1 Trauma experience requiredDemonstrated experience with EPIC charting\n Benefits\n
