Be among the first 25 applicants. Polsinelli seeks a Paralegal to assist our Real Estate attorneys in our Real Estate Practice Group. This position requires experience in commercial real estate transactions and comfort working directly with clients, title companies and various agencies. Office locations include Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City or New York. This is an immediate opening.
Responsibilities
- Perform and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports and underlying documents.
- Assist in preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents.
- Coordinate closing of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financings, debt and equity transactions including signature page packages, document delivery, monitor closing checklists, handle recording requirements at closing.
- Prepare closing books.
- Draft and file UCC financing statements.
- Order and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation and similar searches.
- Assist in the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities and prepare related organizational documents.
- Work on special assignments that may require conducting routine factual research, preparing reports and handling associated filings.
- Interface with firm clients and other outside entities regarding assigned matters.

Ability to work in a fast–paced, deadline driven environment.Must possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills so as to work well with both internal and external clients on all levels and maintain all information in strict confidence.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.Must be detail oriented and be extremely organized; ability to manage multiple projects and to follow through without prompting.Ability to process routine daily functions while being able to resolve sensitive issues and complex assignments.Requirements
Five years of experience in commercial real estate as a Paralegal.Paralegal Certificate or its equivalent.Undergraduate degree preferred.Salary and Benefits
The budgeted salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000.
