About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Profession : Therapy / Rehabilitation

Specialty : Pediatrics

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 00 - 15 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 2 years recommended, experience in acute care, outpatient clinic, and pediatrics required.

License : State license required.

Certifications : BLS required.

Must-Have :

EPIC experience preferred.

Travel experience is required.

Knowledge in pediatric outpatient care, administration and interpretation of assessments, and treatment of sensory dysfunction is essential.

Description :

We are looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to work during weekdays.

The start dates are flexible within the specified range.

The shift will begin no earlier than 7 : 30 AM and end no later than 6 : 00 PM.

The therapist will work with pediatric outpatient patients who have a variety of diagnoses.

Common diagnoses include prematurity, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, oral aversion, ADHD, coordination impairment, and concussion.

The clinic operates Monday through Thursday from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM and Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM.

Special procedures and interdisciplinary support are part of this pediatric outpatient unit.

Candidates must have experience with children and demonstrate skills necessary for effective patient care in this setting.

The position requires compliance with state regulations including background checks and licensing processes.

Holiday work may be required as needed.

Candidates must be able to commit to the specified requirements and organizational policies throughout the duration of employment.
