Location : Lakeland, FL (Onsite)

Compensation : $100K - $140 base salary + potential discretionary bonus

Travel : Moderate (30-40%)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager II to oversee moderately complex projects involving switchgear and electrical components. This role requires a strong understanding of project planning, coordination, execution, and stakeholder communication. The PM2 will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution

Manage mid-sized projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Oversee the assembly, testing, and installation of low- and medium-voltage switchgear and related electrical components.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders during project execution.

Identify and mitigate potential project risks to maintain efficiency and compliance.

Project Coordination & Documentation

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Perform estimating tasks and input information into the quoting system.

Maintain detailed project reports, risk logs, and documentation to track progress.

Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and compliance requirements.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with customers, contractors, and engineers to resolve challenges and drive project success.

Foster a team-oriented environment that promotes accountability and performance.

Communicate project updates effectively to all stakeholders.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills & Attributes)

2-4 years of experience in project management or coordination.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of NEC standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance.

Experience in project estimating, quoting, and takeoff processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience managing cross-functional teams on technical projects.

Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent are a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in both office and field settings.

Lift, carry, and / or move up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.

Climb ladders, staircases, and operate vehicles for extended periods.

Work in varied weather conditions, including extreme heat / cold.
