Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver :

  • Conduct pre / post-trip inspections on your tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report.
  • Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and manage keys for off-hour deliveries.
  • Safely drive your tractor-trailer to required destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain a driver log (manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, noting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
  • Unload the trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

    • Qualifications to Join Our Team :

  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk assessment criteria.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to perform job tasks safely and effectively, including following work instructions and safety protocols.
