The Levy Company is currently hiring an experienced Highway Lighting & Traffic Signal FOREMAN for the Austin, TX area. All candidates must adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work is completed efficiently and timely.

The Highway Lighting & Traffic Signal Construction FOREMAN will guide a crew on various projects building traffic signals, highway and street lighting, infrastructure and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) within Texas.

Essential Functions may include but are not limited to :

• Reads utility locates, coordinates potholing, and ensure the worksite is safe for work and perform all required safety duties
• Underground conduit, mounting devices, installing poles, and drilling caissons
• Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
• Ensure all material and equipment needed are available to complete the job prior to beginning work.
• Installation of required equipment, wiring of equipment, and trouble shooting and integration of required equipment
• Record and submit personnel, production, equipment, and other operational data on specified forms, reports, and systems.
• Assign work based on employee qualifications and job procedures.
• Assist workers engaged in construction activities, using hand tools and other equipment.

Working Environment :

Work is performed in primarily outdoor environments with constant exposure to noise, dust, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and temperature extremes
