Travel Nurse RN - Float - $2,254 per week

Adecco is seeking a travel nurse RN Float for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Float Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Versatile RN : Adapt your skills across multiple units Now Hiring : Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg Float Pool Location : Watertown, NY Schedule : 13 Weeks, Night Shift (7p – 730a); Holiday and Weekend shift rotation expected Important : Must reside 60 or more miles from zip code 13601 Key Responsibilities :

• Provide nursing care across various units, filling staffing gaps by assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, and creating and implementing care plans
• Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
• Can be floated to any unit within the hospital, except for Psych and ED, unless to manage holds
• Must be flexible and adaptable, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and documenting patient information
• Patient Ratio is 1 : 5-6 and common patient diagnosis are : septic, COPD, CHF, post op, general med surg, and post-op plastics
• Required drips and medications : Heparin, mag and k riders
• May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse Qualifications :
• Active RN NY State license
• Minimum 2 years of experience required in Med Surg and have completed at least 1 Travel assignment
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are required
