• Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Job Description

The VPFO is a senior financial leader who partners with hospital leadership to advance the organization's mission through fiscal stewardship and operational insight. While core financial functions such as consolidated reporting, capital planning, and cost accounting are managed by centralized shared services, the VPFO leads the development of the hospital-specific operating budget and ensures alignment with system-wide initiatives. This role interprets financial data to support decision-making, accountability, and performance improvement. The VPFO collaborates with clinical, service line, and administrative leaders to analyze trends, investigate variances, and identify opportunities for efficiency and margin enhancement. Responsibilities also include volume planning, business plan development, and ensuring financial practices align with standardized policies.
