ICU RN Job Details Assignment Length : 13 weeks (travel nursing contract) Location : Rhinelander, WI 54501 - Northern Wisconsin healthcare jobs Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Unit Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100 - $2250 Weekend / Holiday Rotation : Every other weekend and every other holiday Floating : May float to similar units and nearby Aspirus healthcare facilities within a 40-mile radius On Call : On-call pay available during low census hours Start Date : October 6, 2025 End Date : January 3, 2026 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse) Current AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience Critical access or rural hospital experience highly preferred Experience caring for pediatric surgical patients (ENT or orthopedic cases) a plus Willingness to float to similar units and nearby healthcare facilities as needed ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult and occasional pediatric patients Maintain a 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio in the ICU Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records (no prior EPIC experience required) Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Float to similar units and nearby Aspirus healthcare facilities as needed Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and best practices Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
