This is a temporary 1099 role.

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality cleaning and distribution of linens, uniforms, and other laundry items. This role includes supervising laundry staff, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety and hygiene standards, and managing inventory.

A typical day for the Laundry Supervisor includes :

• Supervising, training, and scheduling laundry staff to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
• Monitoring workflow and productivity to meet daily laundry processing requirements.
• Ensuring all laundry is cleaned, dried, folded, and distributed in a timely manner.
• Inspecting laundry items for quality and cleanliness standards; taking corrective action as needed.
• Maintaining equipment and coordinating repairs or servicing as necessary.
• Enforcing workplace safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Managing inventory of laundry supplies and placing orders as needed.
• Maintaining records of laundry loads, staff schedules, maintenance logs, and supply usage.
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene, infection control, and sanitation regulations.
