Supply Chain Buyer

We are looking for a Supply Chain Buyer to help us managing complex problems and tasks in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. As a Trex Supply Chain Buyer, you will be responsible for planning and purchasing manufacturing raw materials and maintaining inventory in the ERP system.

DUTIES

Management of Raw Materials

• Manage raw material ordering to ensure adequate supply for the manufacturing schedule with consideration for safety stocks, lead-times, space, and maximum inventory levels.
• Interface with suppliers on matters related to material purchasing, such as providing forecasts, expediting orders, and resolving receipt discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Production Schedulers to ensure material availability for manufacturing operations in a fast changing environment.
• Represent Supply Planning on new product development teams, ensuring that all inventory is available for new product launches.
• Partnering with Quality / Engineering / R&D to ensure materials placed on Hold are efficiently evaluated for release / scrap to meet sales order requirements.

EXPERIENCE

A bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in supply chain or operations is required. If you've worked as a buyer or procurement specialist, you're Trex material for sure. Have experience with ERP and MRP systems? You'll fit in just fine.

BASE SALARY RANGE

$75,000-$95,000 annually

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual bonus, in addition to the base salary.

We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
