Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

Serve as the Accounting Manager , overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation

Manage and mentor a small accounting team, promoting accuracy, efficiency, and growth

Partner closely with operations and leadership to provide actionable financial insights

Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP standards

Act as the point person for banking relationships, insurance policies, and tax compliance

Improve and implement accounting systems and processes to scale with company growth

Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board

Qualifications of the Accounting Manager

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Accounting Manager or some type of recent leadership experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience optimizing its use in a growing business environment

Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting

Experience working in real estate, hospitality, or luxury service industries is a plus

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
