Job Title : CNC Universal Grinder – 3rd Shift

Location : Brookfield, WI

Shift : Sunday–Thursday, 10 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM (6-month 1st shift training required)

Pay : $24–$26 / hr + shift premium

Employment Type : Direct hire with full benefits

Join a reputable Brookfield manufacturer as a CNC Universal Grinder. In this role, you will set up and operate universal CNC grinding machines to perform a variety of complex machining operations to close-tolerance customer specifications . You will perform frequent changeovers for small custom orders and maximize production efficiency by running more than one machine when possible.

Principal Responsibilities

• Receive and review work assignments; verify parts and routing for count, type, and sequence.
• Set up machines following established procedures : select grind wheels, bushings, collets, and programs; input tool and setup values; grind first piece, inspect, adjust, and obtain approval.
• Dress and form abrasive wheels using standard dressing devices; mount and secure tools; adjust spindle speeds, feed rates, and travel stops.
• Run machines in auto-cycle mode whenever possible, continually inspecting finished tools for correct dimensions.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously when appropriate.
• Enter production data into the data collection system.
• Monitor equipment performance; report issues and request maintenance to prevent downtime or damage.
• Perform SPC procedures on all jobs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
