As an Associate Packer, you will be responsible for packing products in a timely manner consistent with the department's safety, quality and production goals. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the departments Team Lead(s). This position works 2nd Shift : Monday through Thursday, 3 : 00 pm 1 : 30 am, with overtime on Friday as needed.

What Youll Be Doing (% of Time) :

• Ensure that the packing schedule is followed to satisfy the needs of our customers. Ensure the quality of product meets Company and industry standards. (90%)
• Ensure that all quality issues are directly reported to the department lead. (5%)
• Ensure that the immediate work area remains clean to avoid any safety related issues. (5%)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment :

Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

Work Environment : The job may risk exposure to heat and / or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.

Travel Required : This job requires no domestic travel.

Work Status & Location : This full-time, non-exempt position is in Gallatin, TN

Relocation : Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay : $19.00 - $22.36 / hour
