Job Overview

The Shared Services Director (Director) is responsible for quality assurance and driving process excellence. This role involves data-driven quality monitoring, identifying non-value-added (NVA) steps, leading lean projects, optimizing capacity planning, and ensuring accuracy and continuous process improvement. The Director will work closely with operations, analytics, and automation teams to enhance overall performance across multiple capabilities and roles.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in testing claims system or software configuration and / or building and implementing claims system adjudication rules.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive management experience with direct reports in a Managed Care Organization setting (IPA, MSO, or Healthplan)
  • Minimum of 2+ years participation in developing and implementing claims platform (i.e., EZCAP, QNXT, iKA, Trizetto, Facets, EPIC-Tapestry), providing subject matter expertise on the system configuration and usability components.
  • Solid experience of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and procedures is preferred.
  • Experience in the practical application of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts is preferred.
  • Experience in the practical application of continuous process improvement principles (Kaizen, LEAN, PDCA, DMAIC) is preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management methodologies (requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation) is preferred.

Compensation

$154,718.72 - $193,398.40 annually

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
