Radiologic Technologist Job Details Location : Lamar, Colorado 81052 Healthcare Setting : Hospital Imaging Department Assignment Type : Locum tenens (travel contract) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 13 / 2025 – End : 1 / 12 / 2026) Schedule : Monday–Friday, Day Shift Shift Length : 12-hour days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2240 - $2400 per week Mammography Technologist Qualifications Graduate of an accredited American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) program Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required Minimum 1 year of experience in breast imaging or mammography preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Physical ability to lift / move patients and equipment (?20 lbs) and perform frequent position changes Key Responsibilities for Mammography Rad Tech Perform radiographic mammography procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Conduct all MQSA and ACR-specific quality control procedures and reporting Prepare exam rooms, review patient screening sheets, and assess clinical history Explain examination methods and position patients for optimal imaging Assess patient status, complete diagnostic techniques, and perform necessary interventions Collaborate with radiologists and physicists to meet annual MQSA and ACR requirements Review and evaluate completed mammography tests for quality and completeness Maintain department readiness for MQSA and ACR surveys Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and healthcare professionals Uphold patient confidentiality and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care Apply now to join our Colorado healthcare team as a Mammography Technologist in Lamar, CO.
