The Senior Accountant will be expected to perform a variety of general accounting functions along with assisting in invoicing, collections, accounts payable and the monthly financial reporting close process. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for applying general principles of accounting, reviewing, and analyzing financial information, and preparing financial reports. An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and organized.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist with reviewing financial transactions and activities for assigned accounts and departments.
• Assist with preparing monthly and annual reconciliations and financial reports and statements for assigned areas to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and established policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintaining accurate records of inventory, fixed assets, and other financial data.
• Assist with maintaining accounting controls and audit documents.
• Assist with preparing journal entries and maintain and reconcile accounts.
• Assist with audit requests and provide information as requested.
• Participate in special projects, team training, and development.
• Assist in the processing and oversight of accounts payable.
• Assist with the development, review, and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, and the maintenance of supporting documentation and records.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
