Hematology / Oncology Physician

An established hospital in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia has an opening for a Hematologist / Oncologist to provide hospital rounding and clinic coverage.

Opportunity Highlights :

• Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8a-4 : 30 p, 4 days per week in clinic, with 1 day reserved for administrative tasks
• On-Call : 1 week per month
• Volume : 15 patients per day
• Setting : Outpatient
• Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive examination and treatment planning for patients with both malignant and benign hematology / oncology conditions, complete timely progress notes for each patient, and perform inpatient consultations and hospital rounding during the assigned on-call week
• EMR : Epic
• Team of 3 MDs
• Not required to supervise APPs
• Paid travel, lodging, & expenses
