Join a Thriving Family Medicine Practice with Obstetrics in Emmetsburg, IA MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center offers an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with an Obstetrics fellowship to join a dedicated team at Palo Alto County Health System. Located in Emmetsburg, Iowa, this facility is an affiliate of Iowa s largest health system, providing a comprehensive spectrum of care within a modern and supportive environment. Job Responsibilities Provide full spectrum Family Medicine with Obstetrics, including the ability to perform C-sections. Work collaboratively with 3 Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers to deliver high-quality patient care. Engage in both outpatient and inpatient services, including Emergency Department shifts. Participate in the promotion of health and wellness through community outreach and education. Have the flexibility to tailor your practice according to personal interests and specialties. Utilize on-site services including lab, X-Ray, ER, pharmacy, and behavioral health to meet patient needs. Contribute to the growth of the Family Practice / OB services in a region with limited competitors. Qualifications Board Eligible (within 3 years of eligibility, with plans to become Board Certified within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine. Completion of an OB Fellowship prior to start date. Interest in performing C-sections. Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and community involvement. License and Certification Requirements Iowa medical license or IMLC (or willingness to obtain). Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
