Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 8 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • Staggered shift schedule with pre-op starting at 5 : 30 AM and last staff arriving at 2 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Unit staffed until 9 : 30 PM with night shift call only

    • \n

  • Call shifts required as part of position

    • \n

  • Must be flexible to float between pre-op and PACU units

    • \n

  • Maintain 2 : 1 patient ratios

    • \n

  • Work with large variety of surgical cases including high volume of complex surgeries

    • \n

  • Use Phillips monitors and Meditech EMR system

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS and ACLS

    • \n

  • Preferred experience with Meditech system

    • \n

  • Must be able to collaborate effectively between both units

    • \n

  • ICU cases transferred directly to ICU unless full

    • \n

  • Position involves 10 pre-op beds and 10 PACU beds

    This healthcare facility features a well-established pre-op and PACU department located in Tower A on the second floor of the main hospital building. The facility operates with a high-functioning team of exceptional nurses who collaborate effectively between both units. The department handles a large variety of surgical cases with significant volume of complex surgeries, maintaining modern equipment and comprehensive patient care standards.
