Experience Required :
2 to 5 years
Job Responsibilities and Requirements :
- Expert knowledge of AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, etc.
- Strong operational experience in Linux / Unix environments and scripting languages including Shell, Perl, and Python.
- Experience working with server clusters of hundreds to thousands of machines, deploying changes with zero downtime.
- Desire to develop tools and applications to automate tasks.
- Familiarity with Splunk for system investigation and monitoring.
- Knowledge and experience with software version control systems like SVN and GIT (Git and GitHub / GitLab are a plus).
- Understanding of Java build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Ant, SBT.
- Continuous improvement of CI / CD tools, processes, and procedures.
- Experience with Java testing frameworks like JUnit.
- Experience implementing Java server applications using tools such as Jersey and Jetty.
- Knowledge of web servers and load balancers including Apache HTTP Server, Traffic Server, Nginx, and HAProxy.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance measurement skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude.
