Department : Clinical Education with MVH main, MVHS, MVHN, and UVMC Ambulatory / Procedural Cardiology

Facility : Miami Valley Hospital

Shift : Full-time / Generally M-F 5am-9pm / 80 Hours Per Pay

Coordinate professional development needs in collaboration with departmental leadership, system NPD Specialists, System Nurse Manager for Clinical Education, and the Learning Institute
Support the care-sites by facilitating professional development to influence learner competence and growth
Provide direct patient care in accordance with the clinical nurse role as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies

Qualifications

Education : Minimum—Bachelor's degree; Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Area of study : Nursing

Licensure / Certification : Current CPR certification; Valid RN Licensure in the State of Ohio; ACLS, PALS, depending on service line; NPD certification within three years of hire

Experience : 1–3 years of job-related experience; Prior roles : Registered Nurse, Educator, Faculty in area of specialty; Preferred : 1+ year of clinical precepting / teaching experience
