Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of Dump Trucks and heavy machinery. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

• Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct brake repairs, hydraulic system maintenance, and general troubleshooting.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required during repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, cummings engines and other diesel systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their components.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay : $21.50 - $29.41 per hour
