As a Sonographer at MercyOne, you will :

  • P erform echocardiograms, vascular studies and stress tests.
  • Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff
  • Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, Values, Actions, and Promise in behaviors, practices, and decisions

Schedule :

  • 40 hours a week
  • Day shift

    • General Requirements :

    Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following :

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)

    • If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.

  • ARDMS preferred but ARRT, or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted
  • Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME’s every 3 yrs / annual payment)
  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter
