And we're excited to get to know you and find out what you'll bring to this emotional, relationship-building nursing role.\n\nYour Everyday\n\nPrioritize, coordinate, and manage outpatient treatment of cancer-related health issues.\n\nAdminister individualized care plan for chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring your patient's vitals, medications, and symptoms.\n\nProvide emotional support.\n\nMaintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.\n\nMonitor and engage with your patients, families, and appropriate care team members concerning significant events, patient condition changes, or patient questions and concerns.\n\nMonitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.\n\nEnsure continuity of care, efficiency, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient.\n\nAdvise and consult with supervisor when unable to complete assignments or perform tasks promptly, effectively, or safely.\n\nInitiate patient and family education using appropriate resources and continuum of care services.\n\nContribute to the team by assisting others without being asked.\n

• \n\nThe Must-Haves\n\nMinimum : \n\nCurrent nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. \n\nCurrent American Heart Association BLS certification.\n\noutpatient / inpatient oncology experience\n\nPreferred : \n\nBSN\n\nOncology nurse certification\n\noutpatient / inpatient oncology experience\n\nWORK SHIFT : \n\nVariable Hours (United States of America)\n\nLCMC Health is a community.\n\nOur people make health happen.
