What you'll do
- Choose from flexible hours : Generally, Monday through Friday 9 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. to begin. Alternate / flexible schedules may be required (e.g., 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.).
- Receive assistance and a comprehensive 1–2-month training program to gain hands-on experience and pass the national Mortgage Licensing exam.
- Participate in in-person training with the potential to transition to hybrid upon successful completion of training.
- Earn an hourly base wage plus uncapped commission – the more you close, the more you earn.
- Spend time closing deals with warm leads provided; you will also be compensated for leads you generate.

- Earn extra cash through referral programs : $500 for each borrower referred, and up to $5,000 for referring an experienced Loan Officer.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).Possession of appropriate state-specific mortgage banking license(s) or ability to pass National Mortgage Licensing Exam and obtain licenses within ~60 days; assistance will be provided.Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a role involving customer service and / or sales; preference for call center experience.Credit history in good standing with no recent bankruptcies, no collections, and current payments as verified by a current credit report.Ability to learn and apply knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines, processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Encompass experience is preferred.Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with a professional and energetic phone presence; comfortable speaking with customers all day.Persuasive, sales-driven mindset; team-oriented with strong customer service and organizational skills.Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills; independent problem-solver with sound judgment.Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions; energetic, competitive, and self-motivated.What Your Day Will Look Like
The primary objective is to contact previous customers and prequalified borrowers via outreach calls, emails, text messages, and other channels to maintain contact, solicit referrals, solicit new applications, and review servicing. You will also take applications, price loans, and coordinate with borrowers and the Mortgage Specialist to review options and keep the borrower informed throughout the loan process.
The Following Duties Would Be Applicable
Follow up and maintain contact with all borrowers who have applied for prequalification until they secure financing.Contact past customers to solicit future refinance or purchase business.Take applications as needed or direct the borrower to apply on the website.Provide updates during the application to closing phase and answer questions about the process.Follow up with borrowers who have not completed the application to encourage completion with timely information.Use Encompass and ERMA CRM systems, Microsoft Co-Pilot, and other technology to support goals.Analyze financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine loan feasibility.Schedule meetings between borrowers and the Mortgage Specialist to review options.Track results and update management on progress; handle customer complaints and maintain high levels of service.Maintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Support a customer-centric culture and comply with all applicable regulations and continuing education requirements.Perform any other duties as assigned.About Us
