HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM :

The primary function of this position will be to design, program, install, and maintain a wide variety of control systems. Primary duty will be the support of the Shreveport manufacturing plant with the potential to support electrical / control systems at of multiple facilities. Equipment automation, system upgrades and integration, programming, as well as capital projects, engineering scoping, design, and project management. The project(s) scope includes system design, control and machine specifications, troubleshooting of equipment, process engineering and continuous improvement initiatives. May at times mentor / lead junior automation technicians.

Knowledge of Maple Systems, Allen Bradley, and Ignition PC based HMI's.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. Good vision is required for inspecting parts and equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.The ability to focus while working near production equipment and other distractions.

Office and warehouse environment. High temperatures, especially in the summer in both the warehouse and tank farm. Employees may need to work off elevated heights in a scissor lift on occasion
