Overview

Environmental Services Manager in Training (MIT) at Crothall Healthcare, MedStar Franklin Square Medical. This program prepares you for potential leadership roles within our support services team, focusing on operations management, safety, quality control, housekeeping, hiring, training, payroll, profit and loss, and more. You will be assigned to a training location for hands-on onboarding and will participate in Compass Group's Accelerated Manager Program (AMP). Relocation within the region may be required after AMP completion. A full-time management placement is based on performance and business need.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply best practices in Environmental Services management within the Compass Group sector
• Engage in on-site training activities as part of the AMP
• Develop skills in operations management, safety, quality control, housekeeping, hiring, and payroll
• Support profitability initiatives, including understanding profit and loss, inventory, and cash handling
• Communicate effectively with peers, employees, clients, and customers
• Prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with contract administration and client relations
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and departmental policies

About the MIT Program

As an MIT, you will gain preparation for a potential future role within our support services team leadership. You will learn best practices across Compass Group sector operations, including leadership development and on-site training. Upon AMP completion, relocation within your assigned region may be required to be considered for placement opportunities. Progression to a full-time management position is based on performance and business need.
