Commerce Bank's summer internship program provides students a chance to gain real world experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Internships are offered in a wide range of functional business areas and are designed to provide the interns with meaningful and relevant work. The summer internship session will begin on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and will run for 11 weeks, ending on Friday, July 31, 2026. Internships are paid, full-time opportunities with a Monday through Friday work schedule.
Essential functions include :
Assist with a variety of traditional and digital marketing initiatives in support of the Commercial Marketing team including :
Content Creation : Assist in the development of marketing thought leadership content, social media updates and email campaigns to promote the Commercial banking brand, products and solutions.
Social Media Management : Help maintain social media calendar including scheduling of posts and monitoring engagement.
Market Research : Research industry trends, customer demographics, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights for marketing strategies.
Event Coordination : Support the planning and execution of bank sponsored events, including webinars, industry events and community outreach programs.
Creative Projects : Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing promotional materials.
Data Analysis : Assist in analyzing marketing campaign performance data to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data driven recommendations.
Customer / Client Engagement : Help in developing and implementing strategies to acquire, expand, and retain customers through marketing programs.
Marketing Automation : Get acquainted with the marketing technology that is leveraged to support various initiatives.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required :
Required : Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred : Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Salesforce CRM and SharePoint
