The role is for an Area Sales Director who will generate revenue from the Commercial Sales team, lead Inside Sales Representatives responsible for new business quota attainment in assigned territories, and collaborate as part of a global sales organization.
This role works remotely from a home office and reports to the Head of Sales, Commercial.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Commercial Account Executives to achieve individual and team quotas
- Develop and implement a scalable, repeatable sales playbook for SMB and Mid-market
- Run and manage all aspects of the sales cycle, quote and negotiate, and assist reps in closing complex transactions through executive-level relationships with key prospects
- Manage daily / weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results
- Develop the US market and maintain relationships with existing or potential partners
- Coordinate weekly / monthly pipeline reviews, mentoring, and training sessions to promote best practices
- Develop corporate objectives scorecards to maintain productivity standards
- Attract, hire, coach, onboard, and retain top sales talent
- Be a change agent to grow the business and define new models / processes
- Maintain collaborative relationships with Presales, Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams

Requirements
Strong software sales experience with leadership and a track record of quota attainmentHunter with field and remote sales experience and consistent over-achievement of quotasExperience selling networking and / or security solutions in a competitive B2B marketExperience selling to C-level and technical buyersMinimum 2 years’ experience managing an individual contributor sales teamChannel recruitment and enablement experience with proven channel sales successAbility to accurately forecast sales results and negotiate contractsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong collaboration and communication skills within highly team-oriented sales organizationsWillingness to work hard to achieve exceptional resultsStart-up experience is an advantage; cloud-based solution experience is an advantageComputer Science or Engineering degree or relevant work experience is a strong advantageCompany and Diversity
