Our client is seeking an experienced UX / UI Developer to lead the design and implementation of engaging user interfaces and seamless experiences. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strategic mindset, translating business goals and user needs into innovative, high-quality software solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.

UX / UI Developer Responsibilities :

  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive UX / UI strategy for the development team.
  • Identify and integrate emerging technologies to enhance user interface capabilities.
  • Promote and implement best practices in UX / UI design across projects.
  • Create a UX / UI playbook to guide user engagement and design consistency.
  • Explore opportunities to humanize AI / ML-driven features for a more intuitive user experience.
  • Map and define the end-to-end customer journey throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct usability testing, user research, and benchmark studies to inform design decisions and stay aligned with industry trends.

UX / UI Developer Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in UX / UI development, ideally within the financial sector.
  • Strong proficiency with programming languages and frameworks, including React.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine user-centered design principles with technical implementation.
