Transportation Sales Executive
We're hiring an experienced Transportation Sales Executive to lead new business development within our temperature-controlled LTL and cold chain logistics network. We're looking for a confident, motivated sales professional who understands the unique demands of temperature-sensitive freight and has a proven record of developing lasting customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across temperature-controlled LTL and 3PL services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for national accounts, managing all aspects of the customer relationship.
- Develop customized freight solutions and pricing for temperature-sensitive lanes.
- Collaborate with internal operations and carrier teams to ensure on-time, compliant service.
- Monitor cold chain market trends to uncover new opportunities and optimize customer strategy.
- Participate in strategic sales initiatives, forecasting, and special projects.
- Travel 1015% to support and expand client relationships.
Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in logistics or transportation sales within a 3PL or asset-based environment.Proven experience with temperature-controlled LTL freight required.Ability to manage or support a $2MM+ book of business.Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.Why Join Us : You'll be part of a collaborative, customer-focused team that values initiative, accountability, and results.
