Job Description and Profile

The Telecom / EV CAD Technician II works as a member of the telecom design team to perform drafting and plan preparation of engineering documents of the highest quality. These documents will consist of complete and accurate work plans, detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches and / or notes from architects / engineers / PMs.

Reports to : Director of Telecom with direct supervision from CAD Lead.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet with CAD Lead to help maintain workload and meet deadlines.
• Provide support to CAD Lead and other Project Managers and / or Engineers / Architect by preparing documents under deadline.
• Incorporate redlines into existing drawings.
• Prepare Telecom lease exhibits, zoning and construction sets for submittals.
• Clean up drawings to company standards, plot / scan drawings and create portable document format (PDFs).
