Day to Day
GENERAL DUTIES
Reviews scans with Radiologists, confirms patient identity and details, and administers patient care according to policies. Explains procedures, recognizes issues, and responds to critical findings. Maintains equipment, exam rooms, and supplies, ensuring safety and cleanliness. Participates in quality control and adheres to sterile techniques, hospital policies, and safety protocols. Records information accurately and performs clerical tasks as needed.
Must Haves
Education and Experience : Preferred : Clinical training in a Radiologic Technologist program and healthcare experience as a technologist.
Licenses and Certifications : Required : BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT Radiology Technician (LSRTBE).
Other Details
Position does not supervise staff. Physical demands include medium work, frequent standing and walking, lifting, and other physical activities. Work shift varies. The role is part-time and involves health care provider functions in hospital settings.
