Must have 4 or more years of direct work experience in startup and installation of HVAC equipment and boiler operation / maintenanceMust possess intermediate knowledge of computer, iPad, and Microsoft Office operationUnderstand the different type of air distribution systems such as VAV, doubleduct, etc.The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkBe willing and able to travel, if neededPossess extensive knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and HVAC systemsPossess knowledge of control and equipment sequence of operationsPossess knowledge of package units up to 90 tonsData room equipment experience (Liebert and Data Air)Possessing knowledge about VRF installation is a plusRESPONSIBILITIES
Completion of pre-functional inspections and checklists for startup of commercial HVAC systemsPerform installation on refrigeration systems at time of startup and during warranty periodTroubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration systems at time of startup and during warranty periodReading and understanding control wiring and high-voltage wiring diagramsInterpret submittal data and blue prints to ensure that installed equipment and materials meet project specification and codes.Thoroughly review / read installation and operation manuals to provide proper setup and usage of equipment complete per manufacturers specifications and recommendationsEnsure that all field-installed devices are properly completed and mounted during the pre-startup phasePartner with commissioning agents as required and complete required documentationBENEFITS
