A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Coding Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality audits of inpatient and outpatient coding functions, ensuring adherence to established policies and guidelines
Provide feedback and education to coding staff to improve coding accuracy and performance
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to highlight audit results and education opportunities
Required Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent
Completion of a coding certificate program
5 years of experience coding acute care hospital charts
Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
Preferred : Associate's degree in Health Information Management (HIM) field
