About the Role : The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

This position involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide variety of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits.

Journeyman HVAC Tech Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components

Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on heating and cooling systems

Install new HVAC equipment, ductwork, and thermostats in residential homes

Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local codes and manufacturer specifications

Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency

Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle

Communicate effectively with homeowners and internal staff

Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service call

Journeyman HVAC Tech Qualifications :

Valid Journeyman HVAC license (State of CO)

3+ years of residential HVAC experience

EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
