job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in the resource float pool covering ICU and IMCU units such as SICU, MICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4 Care for a diverse population of critically ill patients including post cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma level 1, general surgery, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, COPD, DKA, stroke, and sepsis 12-hour night shifts with rotating schedule from Monday to Sunday Floating required among multiple critical care units Epic EMR experience required within the past 2 years Must work at least 2 out of the following 4 holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day Bi-weekly orientation sessions are available on Mondays Block scheduling is not permitted Full explanation of any employment gaps over 90 days is required Work history must include bed count, EMR system, and trauma level details Active VT or compact state RN license required Current AHA certifications : BLS and ACLS NIHSS required prior to start CCRN preferred At least 2 years of critical care experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Experience in large teaching hospital settings required Experience with post cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma level 1, general surgery, and neurosurgery required Reliable personal or rental vehicle required due to lack of public transportation Vehicles must have all season or snow tires November through April High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
