POSITION DETAILS :

This CNA will work with one male client in Denver, CO 80202 for 2 hours each week, on Sundays from 10am-12pm. As a CNA you will be asked to provide skilled care services including, but not limited to : activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing / showering, toileting (bowel program), hygiene (hair care, skin care), feedings, transfers, positioning, safety precautions, and range of motion exercises - just to name a few. This visit will include getting the client out of bed, showering, bowel program, get ready for the day and into his wheelchair. Parking for this client is downtown Denver, so the caregiver must be ok with parking in the city. PASCO CNAs have the opportunity to work with the same client(s) over time thus building a 1 : 1 relationship with your client(s).

POSITION INFORMATION / REQUIREMENTS :

• Current and unencumbered CNA (Certified Nursing Assistance) licensure in Colorado (DORA to certify)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Prior home health experience (highly preferred)
• Working knowledge and experience of working within the disabled community

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
• Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Mobility to bend, stoop, kneel, twist at hips assist with transfers.
• Visual and auditory acuity to assess clients needs and respond promptly.
• Manual dexterity to perform tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal care.
