  • Lead editing and writing across all beats; drive enterprise journalism; set high standards.
  • Communicate clearly; organize time and plan efficiently; motivate staff to produce journalism readers want, need and value.
  • Collaborate with staff; manage newsroom operations; oversee coverage of all beats.

Qualifications

  • Collaborative management style; strong sense of professionalism; passion for local news.
  • Strong editing and writing skills; ability to oversee and cover all beats.
  • Ability to drive enterprise journalism; strong communication and time-management skills.
