We are partnering with a Disabled American Veteran-owned , full-service engineering firm seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Plymouth, Minnesota. This firm provides multi-disciplinary services-including Civil, Structural, MEP, Survey, Environmental, Architectural, and Landscape Architecture-to a broad client base, with a primary focus on federal government contracts and national-scale commercial development projects.

Key Responsibilities :
Construction Documents : Lead the development of structural drawings, specs, and construction documents that meet applicable codes and engineering standardsProject Management : Oversee project execution, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are maintainedCross-Disciplinary Coordination : Collaborate with internal design disciplines and external consultantsClient Interaction : Participate in client meetings and support proposal developmentTechnical Oversight : Provide engineering guidance, peer review, and mentorship across project teamsBusiness Development : Support pursuit efforts by offering input on proposals and presenting creative, value-engineering solutionsLeadership Opportunity : Take ownership of project delivery and be poised to grow into a lead role within the structural groupQualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on StructuralLicensure : PE required in MN or ND; California PE preferred; other states are a plusExperience :Strong foundation in structural design and analysis across various project types
Experience with seismic design, blast mitigation, and retrofit projects is highly desiredProven ability to lead projects independently through all phasesSoftware Proficiency :RISA
