Lead Piping Designer (Houston)

One of Insight Global's premier industrial services clients is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Piping Designer to join their team in Houston, TX. This person will be joining the Piping Department and supporting several multi-million-dollar projects. Daily, this person will be responsible for developing detailed piping designs and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D software and participating in model reviews as needed. Additionally, they will prepare all types of piping deliverables such as plot plans, piping layouts, equipment layouts, isometrics, and others. This person will be expected to make regular local site visits and work both independently and with other designers and engineers.

Associate's degree in related field

EPC industry experience

Experience as a Lead Piping Designer

AutoCAD Plant 3D modeling experience

ISO checking experience

Familiarity with scans and scanning software (CloudWorx, Laser Scanning, Kohera 3D Piping)

High school diploma or GED
